"Processed and GE Foods Freak Out Mice

Schools in Wisconsin are showing kids the dangers of genetically engineered (GE) and processed junk food with some unique science class experiments. Sister Luigi Frigo repeats the experiment every year in her second grade class in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Students feed one group of mice unprocessed whole foods. A second group of mice are given the same junk foods served at most schools. Within a couple of days, the behavior of the second group of mice develop erratic sleeping schedules and become lazy, nervous and even violent. It takes the mice about three weeks on unprocessed foods to return to normal. According to Frigo, the second graders tried to do the experiment again a few months later with the same mice, but the animals had learned their lesson. They refused to eat the GE food!"

Wow the sad part is the the mice learned their lesson. Even if a person (child or adult) gave up sweets eventually they will be lured to the dark side...

Oh well!!

I DON'T WANNA GROW UP...IM A TOY'S R US KID..

Remember that commercial?! I used to love singing it back in the day and checking out all the toys on sale ..espcially during Christmas time. Now when I'm at my cubicle I sing that melody to take me back to those care free days...if only for a little while...SIGH!!

Today was a long one. I have a competition coming up soon so my training has intensfied. As such my energy levels are low but I press on because the end is near and I can rejoice in a job well done. When I came home today I was a greeted with a letter from my insurance company. I was a little concerned because I haven't been to any of my doc's lately and was hoping it wasn't a statement about a balance of a bill. (Which it shouldn't be because I do stay on top of those things.) Rather it was a notice that stated the following:

"New York state medical converage for dependent child through age, 29, "Young Adult Option."

I'm like wtf!!?!? Basically the plan is as follows: if you are 30 years and younger, unmarried, and live, work, or reside in New York State, and not covered under medicare than your parent can insure your azz for an extra fee. The kicker is that you do not have to be financially depenedent on your parent or be a student. So you can still suck off of your parent's teet . Even if you are not financially independent (and I am looking at you like wtf aren't you at this age?!?) you can still sign up for the coverage.

Don't get me wrong...I think that in hard times...such as these.... this type of coverage is a nice cushion but the other side of me thinks this is breeding laziness amongst the generation Y's. I think that we late 20's early 30's babies are already a little spoiled and we are taking longer to grow up (myself included). Policies like these are giving "young adults" more of a reason to fall back and hustle less.

IT JUST AINT SAFE IN THE STREETS NO MORE!

Okay this is why I go to the gym in the morning. Because at night the gym is a freaking meat market. Some sick azz bastard decided to shoot up a LA Fitness Gym in PA yesterday. Why you ask?!?! Because he was lonely and could not find a female companion!!! How sick.

CNN: "A gunman walked into an LA Fitness gym outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, turned off the lights and fired off 50 rounds, killing three women before killing himself Tuesday evening, police said.

The man didn't speak but was carrying a gym bag with a note inside it. He was found dead in the gym lying on top a gun about 7 feet away from a victim, said Charles Moffatt, Allegheny County police superintendent.

At least 10 other people were injured in the barrage of bullets that sent people in the gym ducking for cover, Moffatt said."

This a**hole kept a written journal on his last days with the intent on ending his life and others on Tuesday. Read one of his sick entries, "Time is moving along. Planned to have this done already. I will just keep a running log here as time passes. Many of the young girls here look so beautiful as to not be human, very edible. After joining this gym, started lifting weights and like it."

Very edible...ehewww...see this is why I keep to myself. People need to keep their misery to themselves. As if people needed another excuse not to go to the gym!

Ummm this is nasty

Okay so I saw this the other day on Perez Hilton and today one of my homegirls forwarded it to me . And I must say that this picture looks freaking gross!!! Now I am going to partially blame this on lighting, angles, etc but ummm Madonna tends to overdue it in the gym. I know I am not one to talk but she seeks perfection in every aspect of her life: family, sprituality, career, romance, and physical health.

I think she should skip a few days at the gym and rest instead. I still love her though!!!

"A man in Oklahoma City was attacked, and then robbed for his bologna sandwich while sitting on a bench at a bus station. As reported by Newsok.com, Roger Hamilton stated to authorities that he was punched by a man he saw staring at him while he was putting mayonnaise on his sandwich. The man reportedly hit him after Hamilton asked if there was something he could help him with.
As noted in the report, Hamilton was found by police with a swollen lip and blood on his face. Hamilton is further noted to have told authorities that he did not know the assailant, and could not give a reason why he would attack him or take the sandwich. The estimated value of the sandwich was stated to be around 76 cents."

Now he should no better. A bologna sandwhich with mayo that is like 15 grams of fat and 500 mg of sodium with hardly no protein (like 3 grams) and he probably used white bread too.

What???????! Don't look at me like that...im just saying!! And yes the robbery situation is pretty effed up too im mad they said the value of the sandwhich was 76 cents..... next time go to Subway.

(CNN)"South Carolina authorities are seeking a 555-pound teenager and his mother, who faces a charge of violating a custody order, police said Thursday.

Alexander Deundray Draper, 14, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, is missing along with his mother, Jerri Althea Gray, the Greenville County, South Carolina, sheriff's office said in a statement. Draper weighs more than 555 pounds, police said, "and is possibly at a stage of critical health risk," according to the Department of Social Services.

Gray was supposed to appear in family court Tuesday with her son and failed to do so, the sheriff's office said. During the family court hearing, the boy was ordered into state custody because of medical neglect, as well as his mother's failure to appear. The Department of Social Services then contacted the sheriff's office, authorities said.

Police have an arrest warrant charging Gray with violation of a custody order, the sheriff's statement said. "Investigators are attempting to locate Gray and Draper as well as talking with family and friends to obtain additional information that may be beneficial to finding both."

The warrant said Gray was served with papers Monday and told to report to court for a hearing in which the department would seek state custody of Draper. "The defendant has avoided the custody proceeding and has concealed the child," the warrant says.

The two may be traveling in a white 1996 Chevrolet 1500 van with burgundy stripes on it and South Carolina license place number AQZ 566, police said."
