Music is so crucial when it comes to my workout routine. I literally transplant myself in another world and become energized with the melodic beats. However I tire of my workout playlist with the quickeness.
Thank goodness for the people over at Vital Juice
They put together a really cool list to suit your musical needs while you work it out.
If you're sporty: You may not hit a tennis ball like Serena Williams, but for $13.99 you can have her coach you through a 40-minute run (with jams from Lady GaGa and Nelly Furtado in the background). Search for "Nike Sport Music" in iTunes.
If you're fickle: Yoga one day, spinning another, then hiking on weekends? FitMusic has 22 different types of workout-specific sections. Subscribe to one or all for free.
If you have a fitness goal: Tempos between 120 and 160 beats per minute are ideal for calorie-burning. Mac users can download Tangerine, an application that analyzes your music library and then lets you create playlists based on your workout goals. You can click on thed 15 day free download just to try it out. BTW I am hating that I do not have a damm Mac because that program looks good!!!
If you already have a fave playlist: Go to My Workout Album, upload your mix and select the type of workout you're doing; the company will adjust the speed. Prices start at $0.99 per song.
I can't wait to try these out!!! Variety is so key when working out and keeping up the tempo. No Apologies Peeps!!
