LACTOSE INTOLERANT

Here is a subject that is near and dear to my heart... Lactose intolerance. In a nutshell people get this odorish condition when they do not have enough lactase to break down milk sugar (lactose) into it's glucose and galactose. This leaves lactose undigested in the gut and can lead to abdominal pain, diarrhea, and dehydration.

Lactose intolerance is more common in Asian, African, African-American, Native American, and Mediterranean populations . HELLO MY ETHNIC PEOPLE'S!!

Lactose intolerance can begin at different times in life. In Caucasians, it usually starts to affect children older than age 5. In African-Americans, lactose intolerance often occurs as early as age 2.

Now you still need a good source of vitamin C but don't fret you can get them in other food sources such as lactose free milk (i am a fan of soy milk), yogurt, leafy greens and vegetable, orange juice, or you can have your milk and take the lactase enzyme pill.

Until then my friends keep the windows open and match near if you plan on getting down with the cow juice.
