Gynoid – People in this category have the classic pear shape. Big hips smaller waists and a large gluteus maximus. If you find yourself in this group than your nemesis is spicy food and sauces. I myself fall in this category and dammit if it ain't the truth.
Adrenal – Those who fall under the adrenal category suffer from android obesity, which is the worst kind. Adrenal body types gain their weight in their stomach and they are rampant meat and potato eaters. Women if you fall under this category you may have gotten the dreaded comment of , “You are built just like your father.” Ughhh...how dreadful!!
Thryoid – Thryoidians (that is sooooo not a word) are naturally skinny people that just do not look right when they gain weight. (They are classified under the skinny fat breed) One characteristic of this group is that some people have big eyes and their major cravings are sweets. They are usually top heavy with a smaller posterior. Oh Yeah…stay away from the vending machine…it is not your friend.
Pituatary – Individuals with this body are usually short and have childlike features. They have a soft pudgy build and they cannot stay away from diary products.
If you are not sure what body type you fall under after all of these descriptions, the book provides a quiz that will tell you where you fall. Dr. Abravanel also outlines food substitutes to use to beat your cravings.
I think this book is a good source to use in your weight loss plan, however, I do not co-sign with everything that it says. For instance, the doc insists that people stick to an extremely low calorie diet and eat only 3 times a day. I say HELLLLLL NOOOO!!!, and that's because you will starve to death and run to AppleBee’s for the two for Tuesday special. Just use common sense instead, and eat when you are hungry but eat nutritiously.
Click here to order the book, and remember, No Apologies people!!!
