STICK UP KID!!

Tsk Tsk Tsk..all I got say is damm shame!!

From WiredPRNews.com
"A man in Oklahoma City was attacked, and then robbed for his bologna sandwich while sitting on a bench at a bus station. As reported by Newsok.com, Roger Hamilton stated to authorities that he was punched by a man he saw staring at him while he was putting mayonnaise on his sandwich. The man reportedly hit him after Hamilton asked if there was something he could help him with.
As noted in the report, Hamilton was found by police with a swollen lip and blood on his face. Hamilton is further noted to have told authorities that he did not know the assailant, and could not give a reason why he would attack him or take the sandwich. The estimated value of the sandwich was stated to be around 76 cents."

Now he should no better. A bologna sandwhich with mayo that is like 15 grams of fat and 500 mg of sodium with hardly no protein (like 3 grams) and he probably used white bread too.
What???????! Don't look at me like that...im just saying!! And yes the robbery situation is pretty effed up too im mad they said the value of the sandwhich was 76 cents..... next time go to Subway.

  1. Seriously? Go to Subway? That's more than a $0.76 sandwich. That man would have gotten shot!

  3. excuse me but i would like to analyze this from a socioeconomic spiritual standpoint.

i don't think this had anything to do with the sandwich, per se. I think its about the virtues of life and how we respond to each other in various situations.

when the guy with the sandwich caught this stranger staring at him, he probably said "can i help you" in a nasty nasal tone. the average person would have heeded this verbal cue and stopped staring. But not this man. He probably was hungry and than became enraged by the man tone. This man dared to break the silence of the stare not by saying "would you like a peice" or "hey i just got this sandwich from the deli around the corner would like one?" No. The sandwich holder responded indignantly and subsequently got popped in the mouth and jacked for his goods(i.e. the sandwich) I am not saying the man deserved to assualted for not sharing. It just seems like he might have responed to this man negatively....

just think, what type of grown person puts mayo on a bolonga sandwich while sitting on a bench at a bus station?! and what type of person would sucker punch someone and take their sandwich (not their money, jewelry, or clothing, etc) at a bus station?! All types of images and senarios go through my mind. Nevertheless, i think there is a lesson to be learned in this ordeal:

If you really want to help someone, do it and don't insult them. Or, when in doubt, recall the commands of your parents from your youth and don't talk to strangers...
