HUNGRY...GRAB A SNICKERS..

With my competition weeks away and my training cranked into high gear. My azz is hungry all the damm time. It's funny how for each show I crave something different. Last year all I wanted was Mexican food, this year I could've killed for blueberry pancakes, and now come November all I want is pizza, 2 big ol Jamaican Beef Patties, and 5 white Castle Burgers. Yes !!I said it 5 gas burgers!!!

Until then I have to suck it up and take it like a woman.

All the while I can't help but thank my dear old hypothalamus and my over active imagination for these food fantasies. When we don't eat in a reasonable amount of time hunger kicks in. Our bodies kinda miss the mark on how much food we really need.In order to prevent over eating here are some basic tips:


  1. Eat your food slowly. I am so famous for "swallowing my food instead of eating it" as my dad would say. This leaves me with that nasty disgustingly full feeling... the worse.

  2. Eat food throughout the day. I know you know this already but eating 6 times a day as opposed to 3 will keep your hunger levels in check. Click here to read where the 3 times a day rule comes from.

  3. Snack on fresh fruit, dine on potatoes, and other high fiber foods. The key to staying full is this, the less water and the bulkier the food the longer you will keep hunger at bay.

So be careful peeps and enjoy your food...and stay away from the MM's in the vending machine
